Outsourcing of Customer Help Lines
Outsourcing is a practice that has become more popular than ever in the last ten years with major corporations spending thousands of dollars to save even more by sending call center responsibilities over seas. I will discuss the dilemma of choosing whether or not a company’s call center is one of their core competencies and what will be lost in translation. I will also discuss the downfalls in the trend that outsourcing has taken within American companies as well as how many jobs will be carried off-shores because of this trend. The bad business ethics of the government will be addressed along with the pore contract development they promote. I will also touch on the origins of outsourcing and how they aren’t conducive to English speaking Americans.
